Before you embark on a large print order, you might want to get an actual idea of how your custom design will look on the item. This is where a Pre-Production Proof comes into play.

A pre-production proof is a physical sample of your chosen item, adorned with your custom design. This proof offers a tangible representation of your final product, providing you with a hands-on experience to ensure your absolute satisfaction.

However, setting up the machinery to produce these proofs and the actual printing can be a time-consuming process. Therefore, unlike our complimentary digital proofs, pre-production proofs are not included for free in your order.

Here's what you need to know about pre-production proofs:

Written Request: A pre-production proof can be obtained by submitting a written application to your dedicated customer service representative.
Additional Costs: Pre-production proofs require an extra service charge, not including the cost of the item or setup charges.
Time Frame: Typically, pre-production proofs take about a week to produce and may extend overall production by up to two weeks.
Approval: Similar to digital proofs, your pre-production proof also requires your written approval before the full order is sent to production.
Not Recommended: We do not recommend pre-production proofs for precise reorders, orders under $1,000.00, rush orders, or jobs that require adherence to strict deadlines.
